Our God will do what is necessary
to save us completely*
from the sins that for too long have allowed
the self-focus of
self-condemnation
to have its way in our lives.
May we have grace to submit to
His discipline
even when it is unpleasant in the short term,
because as every
good parent knows,
discipline is just another word for love.
